Cowboy Club

Looking for a place to wear those cowboy boots? Cowboy Club is the spot. It began years ago as the Oak Creek Tavern, where Sedona’s early settlers and real cowboys gathered. Western and cowboy decorations set the mood for this family-friendly restaurant with a full bar. There are a few things you’ll want to experience at the Cowboy Club. Order the Cactus Fries and Rattlesnake, as well as fine Angus and Buffalo Steaks. Then say cheese in front of the second largest set of Longhorn horns in the country as a waitress snaps a photo. By the time you leave, you’ll understand the deliciousness of “high desert cuisine.”

Uptown Sedona

Uptown Sedona is the equivalent of Main Street. In addition to indoor and outdoor shopping plazas, you’ll also find art galleries, sightseeing tour companies and restaurants. Americana abounds, from Native American jewelry and cowboy shops to candied apples and flags. The New Sedona Crystal Vortex will put you in touch with local psychics as you shop for gemstone jewelry. The Sedona Olive Oil Company offers free tastings, and Cactus Carlos Best sells southwest ceramics for your kitchen. There are lots of options for jewelry and fine art here, as well as casual and fine dining. Don’t forget stunning Red Rock views everywhere you look. There’s also the Sedona Art Center, where local artists gather to share their artistic dreams. If you get lucky, your stay will coincide with one of the many holiday parades that cut through Uptown throughout the year.
