Myrtle Beach

South Carolina

Sightseeing

Ripley's Aquarium

One of Broadway at the Beach’s favorite activities for visitors of all ages is Ripley’s® Aquarium of Myrtle Beach. You can touch rays, walk in a tunnel of sharks and observe piranhas. Between poison dart frogs and green moray eels, you’ll be happy you’re meeting these creatures behind sturdy glass. Try to spot a fish for every color of the rainbow, and don’t miss the sting rays that are bigger than the average human.

Margaritaville

There’s no better way to dine on the water than on a boat. The floating sensation of Margaritaville Myrtle Beach will set you on tropical waves just feet from Broadway on the Beach. So embrace the atmosphere and order Black Grouper or Seafood Mac & Cheese. After a few margaritas you’ll be having such a carefree time that you won’t want to leave, and that’s perfectly okay. As the sun disappears, music and dancing erupt from the belly of this boat, luring even the most passive bystanders into the tropical limelight.

Creek Ratz

Creek Ratz is casual dining at its finest, with a laid back nautical atmosphere set on the surreal Murrells Inlet. The waterfront will quickly have you craving lowcountry oysters by the bucketful. From the Fried Dill Pickle Chips and Murrels Inlet Clam Chowder to Shrimp & Grits and Flounder Po Boy, it’ll taste like the perfect southern vacation. Don’t worry, if the kids aren’t crazy about fish, there’s a Tiny Ratz menu full of pizza and chicken fingers. Make sure you get a side of hushpuppies and a moon pie dessert. Live entertainment, TVs running sports and daily happy hours are sure to keep your evening upbeat!

Legends in Concert

Legends in Concert began in Las Vegas in 1983, and more than 30 years later, it’s in a new building on Broadway at the Beach in South Carolina. This hit show has five electrifying acts and a grand finale. Its live band will have you believing that you’re in the room with Elvis and Elton, and the dancing and lighting will guarantee a fun evening, even if your kids are too young to remember Aretha Franklin. The area is full of dining and shopping, so come out early and plan on staying late!

Coastal Grand Mall

The Costal Grand Mall is a modern mix of southern charm and coastal glam. It has all of your favorite mall shopping. Including Express, Justice, Bath & Body Works, Rack Room Shoes, Yankee Candle Company, LOFT, Buckle and Old Navy. Kirkland’s and Bed Bath & Beyond make it easy to redecorate a room, and a list of jewelers put romantic gifts within your reach. Inside and outside the mall you’ll find plenty of dining options. Sticky Fingers dishes up tender southern BBQ, and Cracker Barrel reminds you of grandma’s kitchen. Chik-fil-A, Sbarro, Starbucks and Dairy Queen are perfect for busy shoppers, too.

Boardwalk & Promenade

Ready for some fresh salty air? Pack everyone in the car and head to the Boardwalk & Promenade, which lines the beachfront for 1.2 miles. The midsection resembles a carnival and features busy shops and restaurants. Walk to the south end, and you’ll find a pleasant, meandering park. In the summer, all 800,000 feet of lumber come alive with festivals and events, so you’ll want to time your visit right!

River Walk

The scenic River Walk near downtown Conway is a great place for a late afternoon stroll. Sit on a bench and enjoy the waterway or try to spot birds flying through the area. Nearby cafes and bistros in Conway are waiting if you walk up an appetite.
